Days Gone Remastered is the PS5 version
The newest Days Gone release is Days Gone Remastered, which Bend Studio made with Climax Studios. It launched as a digital-only PS5 game on April 25, 2025, for $49.99, and PS4 owners can upgrade for $10. It adds a Horde Assault mode, Permadeath, a Speedrun mode, an enhanced Photo Mode and PS5 Pro support.
On PC, those modes came as the Broken Road DLC for $10 on the same day, for players who own Days Gone. Neither release continues the story of Deacon St. John, so there’s still no new Days Gone story.
What is Bend Studio working on now?
Bend Studio hasn’t announced its next game. Its careers page says it’s growing its team for the next generation of AAA games, with more than 150 people at the studio in Bend, Oregon, but it doesn’t name a project. Bend’s most recent blog posts are all about Days Gone Remastered.
