League’s virtual hip-hop group is back, and its comeback single is the official song of Worlds 2026. Here’s what the Worlds 2026 song is, who sings it, what the Faker music video shows and where to hear it live.
What is the Worlds 2026 song?
The Worlds 2026 song is Know My Name by True Damage, the official anthem of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship. Riot Games announced it on Sept. 29, 2026, as the 13th Worlds anthem and the first one performed by one of its virtual artists. The vocals come from SOYEON of i-dle, Coco Jones, Vic Mensa and Sofía Reyes.
Riot built the anthem and its music video around one player: Faker, the most iconic pro in LoL Esports history. The video looks back on the triumphs and setbacks on the way to T1’s three straight world titles, and the song’s title works as a statement about a career that needs no introduction.
When did Know My Name come out?
Thursday, Oct. 8, 2026. The official music video premiered at 6 p.m. PT, 9 p.m. ET, on the League of Legends YouTube channel, and Riot released the track on every major streaming service at the same time, a week before the Worlds Play-In started on Oct. 15 in Los Angeles.

The video passed 40 million views on the official channel by Oct. 21, 13 days after the premiere, with more than 315,000 likes. Reaction videos from pro teams, streamers and vocal coaches followed within days, and several of them have reached hundreds of thousands of views on their own.
Who sings Know My Name?
Riot credits four featured artists, and they perform all the vocals.
SOYEON is the rapper and lead producer of i-dle, the multinational five-member group, and has released solo work since 2021. SOYEON has played a big role in Riot’s virtual groups from the start, with K/DA and True Damage, and also sings on K/DA’s new single, as our K/DA Firestarter page covers. Coco Jones is a GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter and actress, one of R&B’s breakout artists. Vic Mensa is a GRAMMY-nominated musician and actor from Chicago, and Sofía Reyes is a Mexican singer-songwriter and actress and one of the leading voices in Latin pop.
The lyrics switch between English, Korean and Spanish, and Riot’s official lyrics translate the Korean and Spanish lines. The writers are Ale Alberti, Alexis Boyd, Miranda Glory, Aejin Kwon, Natania Lalwani, Drew Love of the Daydreamers, Vic Mensa and Sebastien Najand, who also produced the track. Ruby Smith mixed it, Dale Becker mastered it, and Riot Games Music is the executive producer.
Who is in True Damage?
True Damage is a band of five League of Legends champions, each with a role: Akali (rapper), Ekko (rapper), Qiyana (vocalist and rapper), Senna (vocalist) and Yasuo (DJ and producer). Riot calls it a boundary-pushing virtual hip-hop collective, and each member has a distinct sound and style.

The group debuted with GIANTS at the opening ceremony of the Worlds 2019 final in Paris, a year after K/DA’s POP/STARS opened Worlds 2018 in South Korea. Know My Name is the long-awaited return of True Damage after seven years, and the first time Riot handed the official Worlds anthem to one of its own virtual bands.
The music video: Faker’s road to the three-peat
The video tells the story of Faker’s journey to T1’s historic three-peat, the world titles of 2023, 2024 and 2025. Riot frames it around resilience: rising from defeat, evolving through adversity and reaching new heights on the biggest stage. Riot’s description of the video says the greatest champions have the resilience and determination to overcome every obstacle and achieve the impossible.
Riot made the video with the studio WIZZ and animation directors CRCR, with True Damage’s choreography by Suzette Brissett Creatives. It runs 4 minutes and 17 seconds. For the full record behind the story, our page on how many Worlds Faker has won counts every title, and Faker’s run at a seventh starts on Oct. 23, when T1 plays LOS at 7 p.m. ET in Round 1 of the Swiss Stage.
True Damage live in Brooklyn on Nov. 14
Worlds 2026 is in the United States, and it ends on Saturday, Nov. 14, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. True Damage takes the stage at the Worlds 2026 Final Opening Ceremony Presented by Mastercard with Know My Name, right before the Grand Final. Riot has used the Worlds opening ceremony to launch its virtual bands since K/DA performed POP/STARS live in South Korea in 2018.
The road to Brooklyn runs through Texas. The Swiss Stage starts on Oct. 23 in Allen, north of Dallas, where the quarterfinals and semifinals follow. Our Worlds 2026 schedule has every match, and our Worlds 2026 finals page covers the date, the venue and tickets.
The Know My Name skins arrive Oct. 21
The anthem comes to the game with Patch 26.21. Riot’s patch notes list five skins for Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026: Prestige True Damage Know My Name Ekko, True Damage Know My Name Akali, True Damage Know My Name Qiyana, True Damage Know My Name Senna and True Damage Know My Name Yasuo, each with chromas. Yasuo’s skin is the featured Worlds 2026 skin and a revenue share skin, so part of its sales goes to top-tier LoL Esports teams.

Riot hasn’t announced the prices. Expected price: about 1,350 RP each for Akali, Qiyana, Senna and Yasuo, our estimate, the price of an Epic skin. League’s Prestige skins come from event currency and Prestige Points rather than a direct RP purchase. Our Worlds 2026 skins page tracks the prices and the $99.99 Collector’s Edition.
Patch 26.21 also brings Journey to Stardom to ARAM: Mayhem, where every game has a band as its Headliner. When True Damage headlines, takedowns and destroyed towers can drop Anvils for your team. The K/DA Firestarter EP arrives the same day.
Worlds anthems before Know My Name
Every Worlds since 2014 has had an official anthem, and Know My Name is the 13th. Recent ones came from big names outside the game, such as NewJeans with GODS in 2023 and Linkin Park with Heavy Is the Crown in 2024. Riot’s virtual bands had appeared at Worlds before, K/DA in 2018 and True Damage in 2019, but always alongside the anthem, never as its performer.
That makes Know My Name a first: a song by a band that exists inside League of Legends, about the player who defines the esport, released in the year Worlds returns to the United States.
This page is updated as soon as True Damage performs Know My Name at the Worlds 2026 final or Riot announces prices for the Know My Name skins.
