Marvel's Wolverine PC release date: Sony hasn't announced one yet
Marvel's Wolverine has no PC release date. Insomniac Games released it on PS5 on Sept. 15, 2026, for $69.99, and Sony hasn't announced a PC version or opened a Steam page for it. Sony's recent big PS5 games have reached PC between 15 and 25 months after their console launch. Marvel's Spider-Man 2, the studio's previous game, took 15 months, from Oct. 20, 2023, to Jan. 30, 2025.

Marvel’s Wolverine is a PS5 game for now, and Sony hasn’t said anything about a PC version. Here’s what the timing of Sony’s earlier PC releases suggests, and what’s official.
Is Marvel’s Wolverine coming to PC?
Not officially. Insomniac Games released Marvel’s Wolverine on PS5 on Sept. 15, 2026, after first dating it at a State of Play in June. Neither Sony nor Insomniac has announced a PC version, and Steam has no store page for the game.
That’s the usual pattern for Sony’s biggest games. They launch on PS5 first, and a PC version gets announced later, often more than a year after the console release.
How long Sony’s PS5 games took to reach PC
Insomniac’s previous game, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, came out on PS5 on Oct. 20, 2023, and on PC on Jan. 30, 2025, about 15 months later, and Sony announced that PC version on Oct. 18, 2024, almost a year after the console launch. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales took two years, from Nov. 12, 2020, to Nov. 18, 2022, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart about 25 months, from June 11, 2021, to July 26, 2023.
Santa Monica Studio’s God of War Ragnarök followed the same path: PS5 on Nov. 9, 2022, PC on Sept. 19, 2024, a gap of about 22 months.
If Wolverine matched the Spider-Man 2 gap, a PC version would land around December 2027. At the slower pace of the other games, it would be closer to late 2028. Those are only projections from past releases, and Sony hasn’t confirmed any of them.
What Marvel’s Wolverine costs on PS5
The standard edition is $69.99, and the Digital Deluxe Edition is $79.99, with five extra suits, five sets of claws and additional technique points. On Oct. 1, Wolverine was one of the first games patched with Sony’s new QSSR upscaling for the standard PS5, as our upcoming PS5 games page explains.
