Ghost of Yōtei just turned one, and it’s still a PS5 game. Here’s what Sony has and hasn’t said about PC, and how long its other games took.
Is Ghost of Yōtei coming to PC?
Not officially. Sucker Punch released Ghost of Yōtei on PS5 on Oct. 2, 2025, at $69.99. Neither Sony nor the studio has announced a PC version, and Steam has no page or wishlist for the game.
The studio is still adding to the PS5 version. The free Ghost of Yōtei Legends online co-op mode arrived on March 10, 2026, and the Complete Edition followed on Oct. 1, 2026, with the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion and Most Wanted, a single-player combat survival mode in which Jin Sakai from Ghost of Tsushima is a playable character.
How long Sony’s games took to reach PC
The closest comparison is the previous game. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, the expanded edition with the Iki Island expansion, came out on PS5 on Aug. 20, 2021, and on PC on May 16, 2024, almost three years later.
Other big Sony games moved faster. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 reached PC about 15 months after its PS5 launch, God of War Ragnarök about 22 months and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart about 25 months. From Ghost of Yōtei’s launch, that range points to 2027, but it’s arithmetic from past releases, not a plan Sony has announced.
What Ghost of Yōtei costs on PS5
The Complete Edition costs $69.99 on the PlayStation Store, and owners of the base game can buy the Complete Edition Upgrade for $14.99. The game is PS5 Pro Enhanced, and on Oct. 1 it was one of the first games patched with Sony’s new upscaling for the standard PS5.
