Marvel's Spider-Man 3 has no release date, because Insomniac Games hasn't announced it. Insomniac hasn’t announced Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, and its newest game isn’t a Spider-Man game. Here’s what’s official, and how the series has been paced so far.

Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 announced?

Not yet. Insomniac Games and Sony haven’t announced Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, so there’s no trailer, date or platform. The studio’s newest release is Marvel’s Wolverine, which came out on PS5 on Sept. 15, 2026, for $69.99.

The last Spider-Man game was Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, released on PS5 on Oct. 20, 2023, with Peter Parker and Miles Morales both playable. It reached PC on Jan. 30, 2025.

How the Spider-Man games have been spaced

The first Marvel’s Spider-Man came out on PS4 on Sept. 7, 2018. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a shorter standalone game, followed on PS5 on Nov. 12, 2020, and Spider-Man 2 on Oct. 20, 2023, about five years after the first main game.

Insomniac revealed Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine together on Sept. 9, 2021, and Spider-Man 2 launched about two years later. If a third game followed the same five-year gap, it would land around late 2028. That’s arithmetic from past releases, not a date from Insomniac.

Is there a Venom game?

Insomniac hasn’t announced a standalone Venom game. Venom is one of the main villains of Spider-Man 2, voiced by Tony Todd, and the studio described it as a unique Venom story. Any Venom game you see listed with a date is unofficial.
