GTA 6 map: Leonida, Vice City and every region Rockstar has shown

- PS5 Pro
- Xbox Series X|S

The GTA 6 map is Leonida, a fictional US state Rockstar Games describes as “home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond.” Rockstar has named six regions so far. It has not published the map’s size or compared it with GTA 5.
The six regions of Leonida
Vice City is the headliner — Rockstar’s return to a “modern day Vice City,” in the studio’s own words from the November 2025 delay post. Leonida Keys sits next to “some of the most beautiful and dangerous waters in all of America,” and it is where Jason Duval lives and works.
Grassrivers is swamp country: alligators are the headline, but Rockstar warns there are worse predators and finds among the mangroves. Port Gellhorn is a former resort with closed rides and a “new economy” of beer, painkillers and energy drinks. In Ambrosia, the Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, and in Rockstar’s words “the local biker gang provides almost everything else.” Mount Kalaga National Park marks the northern edge of the state, home to hunters, off-roaders and, in Rockstar’s words, “hillbilly mystics and paranoid radicals.”
Vice City districts and places named so far
- Ocean Beach— pastel Art Deco hotels and white sand.
- Little Cuba— the bakeries district.
- Tisha-Wocka— a flea market.
- VC Port— “the cruise ship capital of the world.”
- Watson Bay— home of the Paradise Garage in the Ultimate Edition.
- Stockyard— where the Stock 305 clothing store sits.
- Southside Vice City— turf of the PTT Youngin$ gang.
- Shore DriveAnd the Shore Court garage near Ocean Beach, from the pre-order bonus.
Outside the city, Rockstar has also named Lake Leonida, where One-Eyed Willie’s off-road shop sits, and the Leonida Penitentiary, where Lucia Caminos served time.
How big is the GTA 6 map?
Rockstar has not said. There is no official figure in square miles, no official comparison with GTA 5’s Los Santos and Blaine County, and no official full map. Maps shared by fans are reconstructions from trailers and screenshots. They are guesses — some are careful, none are Rockstar’s.

What Rockstar has shown is variety: a dense city, island highways, wetlands, a mountain park and small towns, plus boats, a seaplane, helicopters and airboats in official screenshots to move between them.
Is Leonida Florida?
Rockstar never calls it Florida. Leonida is “the sunshine state” in Rockstar’s own copy, and its keys, swamps and alligators make the comparison easy — but officially it is a fictional state, the same way GTA 5’s San Andreas was not California.
This page is updated whenever Rockstar names a new place or publishes an official map.
