What happened to inFamous
The series ran through two console generations. The first inFamous came out in May 2009 and inFamous 2 in June 2011, both on PS3. Second Son moved the story to Seattle, where Delsin Rowe discovers superpowers and takes on the Department of Unified Protection. A standalone add-on, inFamous First Light, followed on Aug. 26, 2014, and that’s the last inFamous release so far.
What Sucker Punch did instead

Ghost of Tsushima came out in July 2020, and Ghost of Yōtei followed on PS5 on Oct. 2, 2025, with a Complete Edition that added the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion on Oct. 1, 2026. The studio hasn’t said whether it will return to inFamous, make a third Ghost game or start something new.
