PS5 Black Friday 2026: Sony hasn't announced deals, and we expect the PS5 at about $549.99
Sony hasn't announced any PS5 Black Friday deals for 2026 as of Oct. 18, 2026. Black Friday falls on Nov. 27, and in the US the PS5 costs $649.99, the PS5 Digital Edition $599.99 and the PS5 Pro $899.99 after Sony's April 2 price increase. Expected Black Friday price: about $549.99 for the PS5, $499.99 for the Digital Edition and $799.99 for the PS5 Pro. That's our estimate, not an official price, and it assumes Sony repeats its Black Friday 2025 offer of $100 off each PS5 model, which would bring the PS5 and Digital Edition back to their prices before April. In 2025, Sony's deals started on Nov. 21, a week before Black Friday, after a PlayStation Blog post on Nov. 18, and its accessory deals ran until Dec. 18. If Sony keeps that timing, deals would start around Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, the day after GTA 6 launches.

Sony hasn’t announced PS5 Black Friday deals for 2026. Here’s what it did in 2025, what we expect and when deals could start.
Are there PS5 Black Friday 2026 deals?
Not from Sony yet. As of Oct. 18, 2026, Sony hasn’t announced Black Friday or holiday deals for the PS5, and the US list prices are $649.99 for the PS5, $599.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition and $899.99 for the PS5 Pro. Black Friday falls on Friday, Nov. 27, 2026. Our PS5 price page tracks the current prices.
Those prices have gone up twice in under eight months, by $50 on Aug. 21, 2025, and by $100 on April 2, 2026, when the PS5 Pro rose $150. Our PS5 price increase page has both changes.
What Sony offered on Black Friday 2025
Sony’s deals started on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, a week before Black Friday, and it announced them on the PlayStation Blog on Nov. 18. In select regions, it took $100 off the PS5, the PS5 Digital Edition and the PS5 Pro.
It also sold two Fortnite Flowering Chaos bundles, at $399.99 for the Digital Edition and $449.99 for the model with a disc drive, each with PlayStation-exclusive in-game items and 1,000 V-Bucks. At the US prices then, $100 off meant $449.99 for the PS5, $399.99 for the Digital Edition and $649.99 for the PS5 Pro. Sony’s promotional art dated its accessory deals from Nov. 21 to Dec. 18, 2025, while supplies lasted.
Expected PS5 Black Friday 2026 prices
Expected price: about $549.99 for the PS5, $499.99 for the PS5 Digital Edition and $799.99 for the PS5 Pro. That’s our estimate, based on Sony repeating its $100 discount from 2025 on the current list prices. Sony hasn’t announced any Black Friday price for 2026.
Even with that cut, the PS5 and Digital Edition would cost what they did before the April increase, the PS5 Pro would cost $50 more than before it, and every model would cost $100 more than on Black Friday 2025. Our PS5 Pro price page covers the Pro in more detail. For the other consoles, see our Switch 2 Black Friday 2026 and Xbox Black Friday 2026 pages.
PS5 accessory and PlayStation Plus deals
In 2025, Sony took $100 off PS VR2, $20 off the PlayStation Portal, $20 off the DualSense controller, $30 off the DualSense Edge, $20 off the Pulse Elite headset, $30 off the Pulse Explore earbuds and $20 off the Access controller. If it repeats the Portal discount, the $249.99 handheld would cost about $229.99, our estimate.
PlayStation Plus was up to 33% off for 12-month memberships, through Dec. 5, 2025, and PlayStation Store had hundreds of games at up to 75% off, through Dec. 1, 2025.
When PS5 Black Friday 2026 deals could start
Sony hasn’t announced dates. If it follows its 2025 schedule, deals would start around Friday, Nov. 20, 2026, a week before Black Friday, with an announcement a few days earlier. That’s one day after GTA 6 launches on Nov. 19, and Sony hasn’t announced a GTA 6 console bundle. Our PS5 Pro GTA 6 bundle page covers what the console and game cost together.
This page is updated as soon as Sony announces its PS5 Black Friday 2026 deals.
