- PS5
LISA’s PS5 controller arrives at the end of October, and Sony isn’t making many. Here’s when it comes out, what it costs and where to get it.
When does the LISA DualSense come out?
Friday, Oct. 30, 2026, from PlayStation Direct and participating retailers around the world. Sony says the controller comes in highly limited quantities, and pre-orders opened on Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. local time, which was 10 a.m. ET in the US.
How much is the LISA controller?
| Region | Price |
|---|---|
| US | $84.99 |
| UK | £74.99 |
| Europe | €84.99 |
| Japan | ¥12,480 |
The US price is before sales tax, and retailers set their own. That’s the price of Sony’s other limited editions, such as the Gran Turismo DualSense, which comes out on Dec. 10, and the two GTA 6 controllers.
What the LISA DualSense looks like
The controller comes in Chroma Pearl, a pearly white that Sony calls LISA’s personal favorite. LISA’s bangs and eyes cover the touch pad, with LISA’s signature stars and bold “LL” lettering on the body. Sony’s photos show LISA’s signature next to the PlayStation shapes on the back.
Under the design, it’s a standard DualSense, with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and a built-in microphone, so it works on any PS5 and connects to a PC over USB-C or Bluetooth. Sony hasn’t announced a matching PS5 console cover or a DualSense Edge version, so the controller and the merch are the whole LISA x PlayStation lineup.
Will the LISA DualSense sell out?
Sony says highly limited quantities, and its recent limited controllers went fast: when we checked PlayStation Direct on Oct. 18, the white GTA 6 controller was out of stock a month before launch. The best chances on Oct. 30 are PlayStation Direct in the US and Sony’s own store in Europe, where pre-orders run while supplies last, plus big retailers that took pre-orders. Resale prices above $84.99 are a markup, not Sony’s price.
For LISA, the controller is personal. “Gaming is something I do whenever I have time to relax,” LISA says in Sony’s announcement.
Where to buy it
In the US, PlayStation Direct sells it. In the UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, Sony sells it through its own online hardware store, and participating retailers carry it worldwide, including in Japan at ¥12,480.
The LISA x PlayStation merch
A merchandise collection goes with the controller: apparel, hats, tote bags, keychains, stickers and a DualSense carrying case, in two limited assortments. Sony delayed the merch on Oct. 2 and opened US pre-orders for it on PlayStation Direct on Oct. 20. More items went on sale on Oct. 23 in LISA’s official Amazon store, the same day LISA’s EP, Press Play, came out.
This page is updated as soon as Sony restocks the LISA DualSense or changes its release date.
