Price in every country
Every price includes the Meta Neural Band. In the US, prescription lenses add $200. Meta says it supports near-sightedness, far-sightedness and astigmatism up to a total power of -4.00 to +4.00, in single-vision Transitions lenses.
What the glasses do
The full-color display sits in the right lens and appears only when you call it up, so it does not block your view. You can read WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram messages, see answers from Meta AI with step-by-step visuals, take video calls that show what you see, and get walking directions on a small map. The Meta Neural Band reads the electrical signals of your wrist muscles, so a pinch or a swipe of your thumb controls the glasses without touching them.
What’s new this fall
At Connect 2026, Meta announced a batch of updates for owners:
- Cycling and transit directionsTurn-by-turn bike routes and real-time departures on the display, in the US and Canada.
- Directions by landmarksWalking directions that say “turn left at the yellow house” rather than a street name.
- HologramA photorealistic version of your face, driven by your voice, for WhatsApp calls; early access in the US later this fall.
- Dolby Atmos captureVideos recorded with spatial surround sound.
- ExploreA new on-glasses app for finding more experiences.
- Calendar and notificationsSee who is in a meeting and join it from the glasses, in English in the US; mirrored phone notifications are coming soon.
Meta also says its Muse personal agent comes to its AI glasses in the coming months.
How it compares
On the same store page, Meta compares it with a pair of its AI glasses without a display, from $299 in the US. The extra $500 buys the in-lens screen and the Neural Band, but costs battery: Meta lists up to 6 hours for Ray-Ban Display, against more than 8 hours for glasses without a screen.
