Even Realities G2 price: $599, and where to buy the camera-free smart glasses
Even Realities G2 costs $599 in the US with non-prescription lenses, or $758 to $948 with single-vision prescription lenses, and the optional Even R1 control ring adds $249. Even Realities sells the glasses on its own online store in 39 countries and territories across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Gulf, and in electronics stores in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. The company is also in the news for an open letter from founder and CEO Will Wang, published Oct. 12, 2026, that calls for a temporary ban on camera glasses in public.
- Smart glasses

Even Realities G2 costs $599, and that buys either frame, the round G2 A or the rectangular G2 B, with non-prescription lenses. With prescription lenses, the total is $758 to $948. The Even R1 ring, which controls the glasses from your finger, costs $249 more. Here’s the full price list, where you can buy the glasses, and why the company behind them wants camera glasses off the street.
Even G2 price with and without prescription
On Even Realities' US store, both frames cost $599 in grey, brown or green, with non-prescription lenses at no extra charge. Prescription lenses are bonded to the display layer, so you choose them when you order:

- Essential Slim1.60 high-index, for light to moderate prescriptions: $758 in total.
- Enhanced Slim1.67 high-index, for moderate to strong prescriptions: $828.
- Superior Slim1.74 high-index, the thinnest: $948.
Online orders take single-vision prescriptions only. Progressive lenses are made at Even’s partner opticians. In the US, the prescription version and the R1 ring can be paid for with HSA or FSA funds through Flex; the non-prescription version can’t.
Accessories add up as well: a clip-on sun lens with a pouch costs $99, and a spare charging case $149. With the ring, a pair with the thinnest lenses comes to $1,197 before tax.
Even R1 ring: $249
Even R1 is a zirconia ceramic ring that controls the glasses with a tap, a press or a scroll, so you don’t touch the frame or reach for your phone. It doubles as a wellness tracker, with heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, temperature trends, sleep and activity in the app or right in the display. Even Realities rates the battery at up to four days and a full charge at about 90 minutes, and there’s no subscription. A free sizing kit helps you pick the right size before you order.

Where to buy Even Realities G2
The main way is Even Realities' online store, which ships to 39 countries and territories for a $15 flat fee: the US and Canada, the UK, all 27 EU countries, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau, and the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Orders take about five business days to prepare, and the US store quotes delivery in one to five weeks, depending on color and lenses.
In stores, the glasses sit at Yodobashi and BIC CAMERA in Japan, where they have cost ¥99,800 with tax since April 16, 2026. In Taiwan, a distribution deal with iNNOHOME, announced on Aug. 5, 2026, put them in Taiwan Mobile, E-life Mall, Fayaque and eslite spectrum. South Korea buys through a Naver store run by Mune. In the US, Even lists a showroom at Alexander Daas Opticians in San Francisco, and certified optometrists in several countries fit prescription and progressive lenses.
Latin America is the gap. Even’s store doesn’t ship there, so buyers in Brazil turn to resellers: on Mercado Livre, international sellers list a new Even G2 at R$7,945, about $1,573, on Oct. 23, 2026, more than 2.6 times the US price.
What Even G2 does
Even G2 looks like a regular pair of glasses. It weighs 36 grams, with a magnesium frame and titanium temples. A green micro-LED display, 640 by 400 pixels, floats in your view and stays invisible to the people around you. The glasses show notifications, turn-by-turn directions, a teleprompter, live translation in 25 languages and answers from Even AI.

Conversate listens to a conversation, brings up context when an unfamiliar name or term comes up, and leaves a summary in the app afterward. Terminal mode shows the status of AI coding agents running on your laptop, and you approve their next step with a tap.
Battery life is up to two days, with seven more full charges in the case, and the glasses are rated IP65 for dust and water. There’s no camera and no speaker.
The open letter against camera glasses
On Oct. 12, 2026, founder and CEO Will Wang published an open letter titled “No More Camera Glasses.” He calls for a temporary ban on camera glasses in public until stricter rules protect the privacy and safety of the people nearby, and invites tech companies and policymakers to start a formal conversation about it. Wang argues that smart glasses don’t need cameras today, and that people don’t want to feel filmed in the street, at the gym or in a pub.

The letter names no company. The best-known camera glasses come from Meta, whose Ray-Ban and Oakley models carry cameras, and whose Meta Ray-Ban Display costs $799 with its Neural Band, as our Meta Ray-Ban Display price page lists. Even G2 with the R1 ring costs $848: a screen and an assistant, and nothing that records the people around you.
The company behind the glasses
On July 6, 2026, Even Realities announced a $150 million pre-Series B round led by Meituan, with Tencent taking part, which values the company at more than $1 billion. On Sept. 17, 2026, Even G2 won two IFA Innovation Awards, Best in Design and Best in Communications & Connectivity, out of more than 530 entries. The first model, Even G1, is sold out on Even’s store.
