Every big US carrier has an iPhone Duo deal, and they reward very different buyers. Here’s what AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Apple offer, what each one asks of you and which deal fits.

The best iPhone Duo deals at a glance

The iPhone Duo costs $1,999 for 256GB at Apple, and AT&T lists it at $1,999.99, with the 2TB model at $3,199.99. Carrier deals cut that price through monthly bill credits over 36 months, so you get the full discount only if you keep the line and the plan for three years.

AT&T gives the biggest credit, up to $1,200, with a trade-in. T-Mobile takes $1,000 off without a trade-in when you switch. Verizon sells the phone and plan together for $72 a month to new customers, and Apple gives up to $885 in instant trade-in credit if you buy the phone unlocked.

AT&T: up to $1,200 off with a trade-in

AT&T sells the iPhone Duo for $55.56 a month over 36 months. Trade in a phone worth $230 or more on an eligible plan and AT&T applies up to $1,200 in bill credits, which brings the monthly price to $22.23. That puts the 256GB model at about $800 over three years. The credit depends on the phone you trade in and the plan you pick, and smaller trade-ins earn smaller credits.

Switching from another carrier adds a second perk: AT&T pays up to $800 per line on an AT&T Visa Reward Card to cover what you still owe on your old phone or your early termination fee. The new line has to stay active for at least 60 days.

T-Mobile: $1,000 off when you switch

T-Mobile’s iPhone Duo deal is $1,000 off with no trade-in. You add a line and bring your number from AT&T, Verizon or another eligible carrier, on a T-Mobile plan of $100 a month or more with AutoPay, such as Experience Beyond 2.0. Existing customers on Experience Beyond or Go5G Next qualify too, according to T-Mobile’s offer as of Oct. 16.

The discount arrives as up to 36 monthly bill credits, and they stop if you pay off the phone early. T-Mobile also charges a $35 connection fee at the time of sale.

Verizon: $72 a month with a new line

Verizon’s iPhone Duo offer is a price for phone and plan together. Switch to Verizon with a new line on the Simplicity plan with Auto Pay and you pay $72 a month: $42 for the 256GB iPhone Duo on a 48-month device payment plan at 0% APR, plus $30 for the plan, before taxes and fees. Those 48 payments add up to $2,016 for the phone, so the value sits in the plan price.

Verizon adds an Apple Watch Series 12 or an iPad when you switch and add a new qualifying line of at least $20 a month, through up to $600 in credits over 36 months. Switchers also get three months of Apple One at no cost, then $17 a month, and no activation or upgrade fees with Verizon Loyalty. On myPlan, a trade-in and a new line get up to $1,000 off a new iPhone on select plans, and Verizon Business customers get up to $1,200 off the iPhone Duo with a trade-in and a new line.

Apple Store: trade-in and carrier deals

Buying from Apple, Apple Trade In gives an instant credit of $175 to $885 for an eligible iPhone 13 or newer. If you buy through Apple with AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon, carrier deals go up to $1,200 in credit with a trade-in of an iPhone 14 Pro Max or newer. Apple Upgrade starts at $57.99 a month over 24 months before tax and trade-in credit.

Apple’s own store is where unlocked buyers land, but new online orders there were quoted for Jan. 22, 2027, as our iPhone Duo ship date page explains.

Which iPhone Duo deal is best?

If you have a recent phone to trade in and you’re happy at AT&T, its $1,200 credit is the biggest consumer discount among the three carriers. If you’re switching and don’t want to give up your old phone, T-Mobile’s $1,000 off with no trade-in is the strongest deal, as long as a $100-a-month plan fits your budget.

Verizon’s $72 a month is the simplest bill for a single new line, and the free Apple Watch or iPad makes it the best value for anyone adding a second line. If you’d rather stay unlocked, buy from Apple and use Apple Trade In.

Pre-orders and launch

Pre-orders opened on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, at 5 a.m. PT on Apple’s store, and Verizon and T-Mobile opened theirs the same day. The iPhone Duo is in stores from Friday, Oct. 23, in star white and night sky, with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB models. Our iPhone Fold release date and price page covers the full launch, and our iPhone Duo sold out page tracks stock.

The phone is eSIM-only, so a carrier activates it without a physical SIM card. AT&T lists the iPhone Duo and a USB-C charge cable in the box, and Apple’s own $79 and $129 cases are on our iPhone Duo case page.

Fees to watch

Carrier discounts arrive as monthly bill credits over 36 months, so the full amount comes only if you keep the line that long. At T-Mobile, the credits stop if you pay the phone off early, and the $35 connection fee is due at sale. Verizon waives activation and upgrade fees of up to $40 per device for customers in Verizon Loyalty, and charges $10 a month for iPhone Handoff, which shares one number across two iPhones, as our Verizon iPhone Handoff fee page explains. Prices in Canada and other countries are on our iPhone Duo price in Canada page.

This page is updated as soon as AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon or Apple changes its iPhone Duo offers.
