One Piece: Grand Gourmet release date: Oct. 23, 2026, at $19.99 on Switch 2, Switch, PC and mobile

Sanji’s floating restaurant gets a second location next week. Here’s when One Piece: Grand Gourmet comes out, what it costs and how the restaurant sim works.

When does One Piece: Grand Gourmet come out?

On Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC through Steam, iOS and Android. Bandai Namco announced the game and the date on June 9, 2026, and its Steam posts still give Oct. 23, most recently on Oct. 16. Steam’s US store page shows Oct. 22 for the PC version, and Bandai Namco hasn’t announced an unlock time. There’s no PS5 or Xbox version.

Price and where to buy

The game costs $19.99 on Steam, where pre-orders are open. As of Oct. 17, the Nintendo eShop lists separate Switch and Switch 2 versions as coming soon, without a price, and the App Store has a pre-order page for iOS. Bandai Namco hasn’t announced a pre-order bonus or special editions.

What is One Piece: Grand Gourmet about?

You’re a new staff member at Baratie Number Two, the second location of the famous floating restaurant. It starts as a modest ship, and your job, together with the Straw Hat Crew, is to grow it into the greatest restaurant on the seas. More than 400 One Piece characters show up as staff and customers, each with their own tastes, and Bandai Namco says it’s the first time they appear in a pixel style in a game. The cast brings character events and special interactions you won’t find elsewhere, and the giants of Elbaph are among the faces you can meet.

Cooking with Sanji

Characters give you ideas, you choose the ingredients, and Sanji cooks the dishes with you. You then combine them into meal sets and add flourishes, and you go on adventures to find more recipes. The menu mixes series favorites such as Water-Water Meat BBQ and Sea King Penne Gorgonzola with new creations that use the powers of Devil Fruits.

Decorating the restaurant

There are more than 200 furniture, building and decorative items. They range from dessert-themed Whole Cake Island pieces to futuristic Egghead items, and each layout attracts different customers. If a character likes your design, that character may become a regular.

Rating, size and who makes it

Kairosoft develops the game, and Bandai Namco publishes it. The ESRB rates it E for Everyone, with Alcohol Reference and Mild Fantasy Violence, according to the Nintendo eShop. It’s single-player, it plays in TV, tabletop and handheld modes on Switch, and the download is under 400 MB on both Nintendo consoles. On Steam, it has full controller support and text in 12 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese.
