Fortnite x One Piece is official: Epic's teasers point to the Treasure Hunters update on Nov. 1

One Piece is coming to Fortnite. Epic Games posted two short teasers on Fortnite's YouTube channel on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026: the first ends on a title card that reads Fortnite Treasure Hunters and carries the date 11.1 in its title, and the second ends on a joint Fortnite and One Piece logo, with a copyright line for Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha and Toei Animation. Nov. 1 is also the day Fortnitemares 2026 ends and the date Epic staff gave for update v43.00. Epic hasn't named any One Piece characters or outfits. Expected price: 1,500 to 2,000 V-Bucks per One Piece outfit, our estimate.

One Piece is coming to Fortnite, and Epic Games has confirmed it with its own teasers. Two short videos on Fortnite’s YouTube channel point to Fortnite Treasure Hunters on Nov. 1. Here’s what Epic showed, when the crossover is expected and what it could cost.

What Epic showed on Oct. 24

Epic posted the first teaser on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, at 9 a.m. ET. The 8-second short is titled “The greatest adventure of all! 11.1.” It flips the Fortnite logo through several art styles, including one with the name in Japanese katakana, and ends on a parchment title card that reads Fortnite Treasure Hunters, with the katakana for Treasure Hunters behind it.

The second teaser followed at 2:03 p.m. ET, under a title made of three hat emojis. In 7 seconds, a ship with a sheep’s head on its bow sails through night clouds under a full moon. The Straw Hat crew’s Jolly Roger flies on its sail, which makes it the Going Merry, and a figure stands on deck in silhouette. The last frame shows a Fortnite and One Piece logo and a copyright line for Eiichiro Oda, Shueisha and Toei Animation, the creator, publisher and anime studio behind One Piece.

That logo and credit make the crossover official. Epic also posted the clips on Fortnite’s X account, but it hasn’t published a news post about the crossover, and it hasn’t named a single character, outfit or item.

When does Fortnite x One Piece start? The teasers point to Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026. That’s the date in the first video’s title, and it lines up with two other Epic dates:

  • Fortnitemares 2026 runs until Nov. 1, according to the Fortnitemares post from Epic’s Battle Royale team. Our Fortnitemares 2026 page covers what’s left of the Halloween event.
  • On Epic’s Unreal Engine developer forum, Epic staff listed a fix as targeted for v43.00 (November 1), and the Korean version of the same post pins that date to US Eastern Time.

Expected start: Nov. 1, after server downtime for update v43.00, our estimate. Epic’s server status page showed no scheduled Fortnite downtime when we checked on Oct. 26, so the exact hour isn’t public yet. Daylight saving time ends in the US at 2 a.m. that Sunday, so Epic times after that hour on Nov. 1 are in Eastern Standard Time.

Epic hasn’t said whether the One Piece items arrive on Nov. 1 itself or later in Treasure Hunters. Our next Fortnite season page tracks the season dates.

Is Treasure Hunters a new season? Epic hasn’t said. Chapter 7 Season 4, Override, began on Aug. 20, and Nov. 1 is the date Epic staff gave for v43.00, the next major update. The last two seasons each lasted about 11 weeks, and Nov. 1 falls 73 days after Override began. A pirate name like Treasure Hunters and a ship teaser suit a sea-themed update, but Epic hasn’t confirmed the map, the weapons or the length.

Epic hasn’t announced prices. Expected price: 1,500 to 2,000 V-Bucks per One Piece outfit, our estimate, with bundles above that.

The basis is Epic’s recent pricing for licensed outfits. The Nikki outfit from the horror movie Obsession went into the Item Shop on Oct. 21 at 1,500 V-Bucks, and the Obsession Bundle cost 2,000. Our Nikki skin price page breaks that set down.

In real money, Epic’s smallest standard V-Bucks pack is $8.99 for 800, so a 1,500 V-Bucks outfit takes two packs, or $17.98. The $22.99 pack gives 2,400 V-Bucks, enough for a 2,000 V-Bucks outfit with 400 left over. A pirate-themed Battle Pass would cost 800 V-Bucks, the price since March 19, 2026, though Epic hasn’t said whether One Piece items come in a pass at all. Our Fortnite Battle Pass price page explains that pass.

Epic hasn’t named any. The ship and the hat emojis point to Monkey D. Luffy’s Straw Hat crew, but Epic hasn’t confirmed Luffy, Zoro, Nami or anyone else as an outfit. The Toei Animation credit ties the crossover to the anime, the studio’s version of One Piece.

This page is updated as soon as Epic announces the One Piece outfits, their prices or the Treasure Hunters start time.
