Meta Quest 3 price in 2026: $599.99 after Meta's April increase, and what the Quest 3S costs
The Meta Quest 3 costs $599.99 in the US for its only model, with 512GB of storage. Meta raised the price by $100 on April 19, 2026, from the $499.99 it had charged since September 2024, and raised the Quest 3S at the same time, to $349.99 for 128GB and $449.99 for 256GB. Meta Quest 3S price
The Quest 3S costs $349.99 with 128GB and $449.99 with 256GB after the same April 19 increase. It launched in 2024 starting at $299.99, so the 128GB model costs $50 more than at launch. Meta says it has the same mixed reality capabilities as the Quest 3, while the Quest 3 adds pancake lenses, a wider field of view and four times the storage of the base Quest 3S.
Why Meta raised the price
Meta said the cost of building high-performance VR hardware had risen significantly, and pointed to a global surge in memory chip prices that affects most consumer electronics. Meta Quest 3 price history
The Quest 3 went on sale in October 2023. At Connect on Sept. 25, 2024, Meta cut the 512GB Quest 3 from $649.99 to $499.99 and introduced the Quest 3S starting at $299.99. The Quest 3 stayed at $499.99 until April 19, 2026, when it went to $599.99, still $50 below the $649.99 it cost before the 2024 cut.
