Google's Pixel Tag tracker reaches the Google Store on Nov. 11, at $29.99 or $99 for four

The Google Pixel Tag, Google's first item tracker, goes on sale on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026, through the Google Store. The US store lists it from $29.99, and Google's announcement puts a four-pack at $99, about $25 a tag. It works with Android phones running Android 9 or later and finds lost keys, wallets and bags through the Find Hub app and network, which draws on more than one billion Android devices. On supported phones, Ultra Wideband and Bluetooth Channel Sounding point you to it at close range; a built-in speaker rings it, and its button rings your phone in return. The CR2032 battery lasts about a year, and you replace it yourself. It's rated IP67 and comes in one color, Fog. Google announced it on Aug. 12, 2026, alongside the Pixel 11 phones.

Google’s first tracker tag, the Pixel Tag, goes on sale on Nov. 11 from $29.99, with a four-pack for $99. Here’s what it costs, what it works with and how it finds your things.

When does the Google Pixel Tag come out?

Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026. Google announced the Pixel Tag on Aug. 12 at its Made by Google event, alongside the Pixel 11 phones, and set the on-sale date for Nov. 11. The US Google Store page lists the tracker as coming in November 2026, with free shipping.

The Pixel Tag is Google’s own answer to the item trackers Apple and Samsung sell, and it plugs into Find Hub, the Android app and network that also locates lost phones, earbuds and watches.

Google’s announcement lists $29 for a single tag, while the US Google Store shows from $29.99. The four-pack at $99 is the better deal for anyone tagging keys, a wallet, a backpack and luggage at once. Google gives the tag a one-year warranty, and it ships in plastic-free packaging.

Design, battery and durability

The tag measures 1.1 by 1.8 by 0.2 inches and weighs 0.4 oz with its battery, or 0.3 oz without. Google builds it from stainless steel that holds up against bending and cracking, while the store spec sheet lists polycarbonate and metal. It’s rated IP67, so it holds up to dust and a dunk of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. One color is on offer: Fog.

It packs a built-in speaker you can ring from your phone, an accelerometer and a button that flips the search around: one press makes your misplaced phone ring, even on silent. Power comes from a standard CR2032 coin cell rated for about a year, and you swap it yourself instead of buying a new tag.

How finding works

Setup runs through Fast Pair. Remove the battery tab, bring the tag next to a phone on Android 9 or newer and tap Connect on the pop-up. The Find Hub app then lets you label the tag with a preset category or a name of your own, and each tag can be shared with up to 10 people, which suits family keys or a shared suitcase.

Within Bluetooth range, you can make the tag ring. Phones with Ultra Wideband, or with Bluetooth Channel Sounding on Android 16 and Bluetooth 6.0, also get precision finding: the screen shows how far away the tag is, and on UWB phones which way to turn, down to keys lost under a cushion. Turn on Left Behind alerts, and your phone pings you when you head off without a tagged item. Beyond Bluetooth range, the tag shows up through the Find Hub crowd network of more than one billion Android devices, and its location data is end-to-end encrypted. On the safety side, Android phones flag an unfamiliar tag moving with you and show how to make it ring.

Compatibility and Pixel extras

Google lists the Pixel Tag as compatible with Android phones on Android 9 and later, and it hasn’t announced iPhone support. A Pixel phone isn’t required, but other Pixel gear helps: a Pixel Watch can show and ring the tag through Find Hub, and with Pixel Buds in, Gemini rings it on request without you touching the phone. The box holds the tag alone.

This page is updated as soon as the Google Store opens orders and posts the four-pack price.
