You can order a humanoid robot today, and the cheapest one costs $4,900. Unitree’s official shop lists the R1 from $4,900 and the G1 from $13,500, in US dollars. Shipping adds $300 to $1,200, and you pay customs duties and taxes on top.

Unitree R1 price

The R1 is Unitree’s smallest and cheapest humanoid. The shop sells three versions, each in white or red.

Unitree says the R1 stands 123 cm tall, weighs about 29 kg and is ready to use out of the box, with no calibration. It has a multimodal AI model for speech and images, a four-microphone array and an 8-core processor, and lasts about an hour per charge. A spare R1 battery costs $500. The warranty runs from 6 to 12 months, depending on the version.

Unitree G1 price

The G1 costs $13,500. Unitree’s shop also lists a G1 Pro at $21,500 without detailing what it adds. The G1 EDU has no public price; Unitree sells it through its sales team.

The G1 folds down to 69 cm tall for transport and has a very wide range of joint motion: Unitree lists its waist turning up to 155 degrees each way. Unitree trains it with imitation and reinforcement learning and updates it over the air.

What the cheaper versions can’t do

The standard R1, R1 Air, G1 and G1 Pro don’t support what Unitree calls secondary development: you can’t write and run your own software on them. That’s reserved for the EDU versions, which also unlock extra joints, hands and computing modules. Unitree’s shop tells buyers who want customization to choose the EDU edition.

Shipping, taxes and warranty

Unitree, based in Hangzhou, China, sells through its official shop in US dollars and ships from China, normally within 30 business days of the order. Shipping costs $300 to $1,200, and the buyer is responsible for customs duties, taxes and import clearance. Unitree needs a phone number and email for customs, and some countries also ask for a tax ID; if customs clearance fails, the shipment can be returned with extra freight charges.
