RV There Yet? drives onto PS5 and Switch 2 on Oct. 29 with full cross-play

The camper that sold a million copies in four days is coming to PS5 and Switch 2 on Oct. 29, and cross-play lets everyone ride in the same RV. Here’s when it unlocks, what it costs and what you get on console.

When does RV There Yet? come out on PS5 and Switch 2?

Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, on both. The PlayStation Store lists that date, and Nuggets Entertainment announced the Switch 2 version for the same day on Oct. 21.

On the PlayStation Store, 10 a.m. ET is 2 p.m. in the UK and 11 p.m. in Japan, still on Oct. 29. For the rest of that week’s launches, see our new games this week page.

How much is RV There Yet? on PS5 and Switch 2?

The game costs $7.99 on Steam and the Microsoft Store. The PS5 and Switch 2 prices aren’t listed yet: the PlayStation Store page showed no price when we checked on Oct. 25, and the Nintendo eShop had no listing.

Expected price: $7.99, our estimate, matching the Steam and Xbox versions.

Cross-play: who can drive together

Nuggets Entertainment said on Aug. 26 that full cross-play “between All The Platforms” comes alongside the PS5 release. When the Xbox version launched on June 30, Steam and Xbox players couldn’t play together, so the Oct. 29 launch is the first time the whole player base can share one RV. On PS5, online play needs PS Plus, and the PlayStation Store lists up to four online players.

What you do in RV There Yet?

You and up to three friends drive one RV home from vacation after a detour forces you through the back country, looking for the exit to Route 65. The road is the enemy: you winch the RV over, under and through obstacles with a physics-based winch on the front and rear, controlled from a handheld remote. Keep everyone alive with burgers, antidotes and EpiPens, patch up the RV with whatever you find, grill frozen patties and talk over proximity chat.

The game has three maps:

• Mabutts ValleyThe original route from the Steam launch;
• Mt. YurbuttskA snowy detour after a ski trip, added in December 2025;
• St. Búttin BayA beach trip home added on Sept. 10, 2026, which the studio calls the end of its trilogy.

On PS5, the DualSense supports vibration and trigger effects. The ESRB rates the game Teen for use of alcohol and tobacco.

How RV There Yet? got here

Nuggets Entertainment launched the game on Steam on Oct. 21, 2025, and it sold 1 million copies in four days, according to the studio. On Steam, its English-language reviews are Very Positive, with 89% of more than 32,000 positive, and it’s Steam Deck Verified. The Xbox Series X and S version followed on June 30, 2026, straight into Game Pass.
