PS Plus monthly games for October 2026

The monthly games come with every tier, Essential included. This month’s three became available on Tuesday, Oct. 6, and you can add them to your library until Monday, Nov. 2:

F1 25 (PS5) is the official game of the 2025 Formula One season, with Career, My Team 2.0 and online races in F1 World. Hunt: Showdown 1896 (PS5) is an extraction shooter where you track down monsters for a bounty while other players hunt you. Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 (PS5, PS4) puts squads of blocky soldiers up against giant enemies on a square Earth.

Once claimed, the games stay playable as long as your PS Plus membership is active. For free PC games on the Epic Games Store, see our list of free games this week.

The Game Catalog lineup for Extra and Premium arrives on Tuesday, Oct. 20, unless noted.

Mafia: The Old Country (PS5) is the headliner, a third-person mob story set in 1900s Sicily, where you play as Enzo Favara. Horizon Forbidden West (PS5, PS4) returns to the catalog, with Aloy heading into a dangerous frontier full of giant machines. Mycopunk (PS5), a four-player co-op shooter against fungal aliens, launches on PS Plus the same day it comes out, Oct. 20, worldwide.

The rest of the lineup comes in waves. The Midnight Walk (PS5), a dark fantasy adventure built in clay, arrived early, on Oct. 14 in the US. Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 (PS5, PS4), Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition (PS5, PS4) and Monster Energy Supercross 25 (PS5) follow on Oct. 27.

PlayStation notes that lineups can differ by region, so check the PlayStation Store on release day.

Premium members also get two older games on Oct. 20: Capcom’s Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, both on PS5 and PS4.

The same day, Premium adds game trials for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II, so you can try them before buying.

HorrorFest packs and other October extras. PS Plus is also running HorrorFest, a set of Halloween in-game packs for members. A World War Z Halloween skin pack arrives on Oct. 20. From Oct. 21 to Nov. 4, members can download Back 4 Blood’s first expansion, Tunnels of Terror, at no extra cost and get 95% off the second and third expansions and the Annual Pass. Back 4 Blood itself is in the Extra catalog.

Dead by Daylight players have from Oct. 20 to Oct. 26 to reach 10 million matches together. If they do, every PS Plus member unlocks an exclusive pack for the game. From Oct. 28, members also get a discount on the Until Dawn movie in the Sony Pictures Core app, through Nov. 3.
