Persona 4 Revival Switch 2: May 20, 2027, three months after PS5, Xbox and PC
Persona 4 Revival comes to Nintendo Switch 2 on Thursday, May 20, 2027. Atlus announced the Switch 2 version during the Nintendo Direct on Sept. 9, 2026, and SEGA confirmed the date the next day. That's three months after the game launches on PS5, Xbox Series X and S and PC on Feb. 18, 2027. As of Oct. 17, 2026, SEGA hasn't announced a Switch 2 price or editions, pre-orders are open only on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam, and the Nintendo eShop doesn't list the game yet. On the other platforms, the standard edition costs $69.99.

Switch 2 owners get the Persona 4 remake in spring 2027. Here’s when Persona 4 Revival comes out on Nintendo Switch 2 and what SEGA hasn’t announced yet.
When does Persona 4 Revival come out on Switch 2?
On Thursday, May 20, 2027. Atlus showed a Switch 2 trailer during the Nintendo Direct on Sept. 9, 2026, and SEGA confirmed the date in its announcement on Sept. 10. The PS5, Xbox Series X and S and PC versions come out three months earlier, on Feb. 18, 2027, so Switch 2 is the last platform to get the game. SEGA hasn’t said why the Switch 2 version comes later.
Price and pre-orders on Switch 2
Neither is announced. As of Oct. 17, 2026, the Nintendo eShop doesn’t list Persona 4 Revival, and SEGA says pre-orders are open on Xbox Series X and S, Xbox on PC, PS5 and Steam only. On those platforms, the standard edition costs $69.99, and the PlayStation Store also sells a $84.99 Digital Deluxe Edition and a $99.99 Digital Premium Edition.
For a sense of how Atlus priced its last remake on Switch 2, Persona 3 Reload costs $59.99 on the Nintendo eShop for Switch 2, and its Digital Premium Edition costs $89.99. It came out there on Oct. 23, 2025.
Physical copies and the original Switch
SEGA hasn’t announced physical editions or retail details for the Switch 2 version. The game is announced for Nintendo Switch 2 only, not the original Switch. If you want to play Persona 4 on Switch before May 2027, Persona 4 Golden, the expanded version of the original game, sells for $19.99 on the Nintendo eShop for Switch.
What is Persona 4 Revival?
A full remake of Persona 4 from Atlus. You play a transfer student in the rural town of Inaba who forms the Investigation Team with new friends to solve a string of bizarre murders tied to the Midnight Channel. The Switch 2 trailer shows the familiar cast in the new 3D style, from after-school scenes in Inaba to turn-based battles inside the TV world, with Nintendo button prompts on screen.
