Kirby Air Riders update: Ver. 1.3.3 from June 2, 2026, is still the latest, and Nintendo hasn't announced another
The latest Kirby Air Riders update is Ver. 1.3.3, released on June 2, 2026. It added support for two amiibo figures, Sword Kirby & Dragoon and Noir Dedede & Hydra. Nintendo hasn't announced another update since, and there's no paid DLC for the game on its US store. Nintendo's support page lists six updates, starting the day before the game came out on Nintendo Switch 2 on Nov. 20, 2025, and it had sold 1.90 million copies by June 30, 2026.

Kirby Air Riders hasn’t had an update since early June, and Nintendo hasn’t said when the next one comes. Here’s what the latest update changed and what came before it.
What’s in the latest Kirby Air Riders update?
Ver. 1.3.3 came out on June 2, 2026, and it’s a small one. It added support for two amiibo figures, Sword Kirby & Dragoon and Noir Dedede & Hydra. Nintendo also warns that replays from older versions may not play after updating, and that replays from Ver. 1.2.0 or earlier won’t play at all, so you can convert the ones you want to keep into videos first, which requires a microSD Express card.
When is the next Kirby Air Riders update?
Nintendo hasn’t announced one. The game got an update every few weeks over its first winter, but as of Oct. 17, 2026, Ver. 1.3.3 is still the latest. There’s also no paid DLC listed on Nintendo’s US store, and Nintendo hasn’t announced any, so new content so far has come only in free updates.

Ver. 1.1.1, on Nov. 19, 2025, the day before launch, added online play, local wireless and LAN play, Swap Relay for Air Ride and Team Battle for City Trial. Ver. 1.2.0, on Dec. 11, 2025, let you scan amiibo in paddocks and race against figure players, and it toned down Rick in City Trial and Air Ride.
Ver. 1.3.0, on Jan. 26, 2026, was the biggest so far. It added GameShare, a Grand Prix mode for Air Ride matches in paddocks, a Sub-In Series rule set and support for two players on one Switch 2 in paddocks and Quick Matches, along with balance changes for many riders and machines. Ver. 1.3.1, on Feb. 24, added three more amiibo and another round of balance changes, and Ver. 1.3.2, on March 11, fixed online and gameplay bugs.
Kirby Air Riders came out on Nov. 20, 2025, for $69.99, and had sold 1.90 million copies by June 30, 2026, Nintendo says.
