When is Forza Horizon 6 coming to PS5?

The Standard and Deluxe Editions release on Jan. 26, 2027. The Premium Edition includes early access from Jan. 21. Forza Horizon 6 PS5 editions and prices

PlayStation Store prices match Steam’s. All three editions include the full game, and every PS5 pre-order gets a pre-tuned Ferrari J50 once you finish the prologue.

The second Premium Expansion is included in the Premium Edition but doesn’t have a date yet. If you start on Standard or Deluxe, a Premium Upgrade adds everything the Premium Edition has.

How it runs on PS5

Playground Games captured the PS5 pre-order trailer on a base PS5 in the Quality mode, at 4K and 30 frames per second, and says a 60fps Performance mode will also be available. It hasn’t said whether the game gets extra modes on PS5 Pro. The PS5 version is made by Panic Button, which also ported Forza Horizon 5 to PS5, working closely with Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios.

Cross-play with Xbox and PC

PS5 players share the same world as everyone else. The game supports cross-platform play and cross-save with the Xbox and Steam versions, and all player-made content is cross-platform. From day one on PS5, you can play and download community EventLab races, prefabs, garages, estates, liveries and tuning setups made by Xbox and PC players.

What Forza Horizon 6 is

Forza Horizon 6 is an open-world racing game set in Japan, with more than 550 real-world cars and Tokyo City, the largest urban area in any Forza Horizon game. You start as a tourist, earn wristbands at the Horizon Festival, and a Gold Wristband unlocks Legend Island, an exclusive region with its own events. You can build a Valley Estate, show off cars in customizable garages and build events with friends in Horizon CoLab. Since launch, Playground Games has added monthly updates, including the Drift Attack feature.
