Black Ops 7 Zombies has told its whole story across six maps. Here’s every map in the order it came out, with the dates and what each one added.

Black Ops 7 Zombies maps in order

There are six round-based story maps. Ashes of the Damned came first, at launch on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, followed by Astra Malorum on Dec. 4, 2025, with Season 1. Paradox Junction arrived with Season 2 Reloaded on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, Totenreich with Season 3 Reloaded on April 30, Kowakujō with Season 4 Reloaded on June 25 and Rex Infernus with Season 5 Reloaded on Aug. 20, 2026.

Activision calls Rex Infernus the final round-based map for Black Ops 7. Eight Survival maps came out alongside them, so the game has 14 Zombies maps as of Oct. 18, 2026.

Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum

Ashes of the Damned is the launch map, and Activision calls it the biggest round-based Zombies map ever. It’s set in the Dark Aether, where six warped locations, starting with a twisted version of Janus Towers from Liberty Falls, are linked by roads, and players fix up a pickup truck to travel between them. The Main Quest opened at 10 a.m. PT on launch day, and Directed Mode followed with Season 1.

Astra Malorum came with Season 1 on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at 9 a.m. PT. The crew hunts another Shadowsmith at an observatory in the rings of Saturn, facing the O.S.C.A.R. Elite robot with the new LGM-1 Wonder Weapon. Its Directed Mode arrived with Season 1 Reloaded on Jan. 8, 2026.

Paradox Junction, Totenreich and Kowakujō

Paradox Junction traps the crew in a time loop built by the Warden, adds the Rad-Hound enemy and the Blundergat and Sundergat Wonder Weapons, and brings back the Electro Shock Trap. Totenreich goes to an old Norwegian fishing village caught in the Dark Aether, with the Necropincer enemy and the Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon.

Kowakujō is a feudal Japanese castle surrounded by volcanoes, where the crew tries to free the last Shadowsmith and faces the Oni. Each of the three got Directed Mode at the start of the following season, on April 2, June 4 and July 23, 2026, with a round cap of 15 for the guided Main Quest.

Rex Infernus, the final round-based map

Rex Infernus launched with Season 5 Reloaded on Thursday, Aug. 20, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT, as the grand finale of the Black Ops 7 Zombies story. Players confront the Warden to save reality itself, and the map adds the Web Mother as a new Elite enemy.

Its Directed Mode arrived with Season 6 on Sept. 17, 2026, along with a Starting Room challenge. Our Black Ops 7 Season 6 page has everything else in that update, and our Modern Warfare 4 release date page covers the next Call of Duty, out on Oct. 23.

Black Ops 7 Survival maps in order

Survival maps returned to Zombies for the first time since Black Ops 2. Each one is a confined part of a bigger map, with no quests, and the goal is to last as many rounds as possible. In order, they are Vandorn Farm (launch, Nov. 14, 2025), Exit 115 around Reba’s Diner (Dec. 4, 2025), Zarya Cosmodrome (Jan. 8, 2026) and Mars, set in the Astra Malorum boss arena (Feb. 5, 2026).

Then came Ashwood, a Civil War-era town from the center of Ashes of the Damned (April 2), Nuked, a cul-de-sac in the future version of Paradox Junction (June 4), Eidskallen Lighthouse from Totenreich (July 23) and Tenshu, the central keep of the Kowakujō castle (Sept. 17, 2026).

Other Black Ops 7 Zombies modes

Rogue Run, added in Season 4, is a roguelite take on round-based play that started in Ashes of the Damned, and Season 6 added Pack-a-Punch IV, an Ultra weapon upgrade and Golden Armor to its rewards. Starting Room locks the crew in a map’s first area, Cursed adds Relics that make matches harder, and Dead Ops Arcade has been part of Zombies since launch.

This page is updated as soon as Activision announces another Black Ops 7 Zombies map or mode.
