Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 costs $69.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Vault Edition, on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Nintendo eShop list the same US prices. The Standard Edition also comes on disc for PS5 and Xbox Series X, while the Vault Edition is digital only. Owners of the Digital Standard Edition can upgrade to Vault for $30. Players who own and played a Call of Duty released since Modern Warfare in 2019 get 10% off the Vault Edition when they pre-order digitally on the same platform and account, which brings it to about $90, but that discount doesn't apply to the upgrade. MW4 launches on Oct. 23, 2026, and it isn't on Game Pass at launch, so it has to be bought. On Steam, the Standard Edition costs £59.99 in the UK, €69.99 in Germany and CDN$89.99 in Canada.

MW4 comes in two editions, and the loyalty discount cuts the bigger one. Here’s what each costs on every platform.
How much is MW4?
$69.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 for the Vault Edition in the US, on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PC through Battle.net, Steam and the Xbox app, and Nintendo Switch 2. Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Nintendo eShop all list those prices.
The Standard Edition is also sold on disc for PS5 and Xbox Series X, and Activision sells a boxed Switch 2 version through retailers. There’s no disc for PC, and the Vault Edition is digital only. MW4 isn’t on Game Pass at launch, so it has to be bought. It comes out on Oct. 23, 2026, and our MW4 release time page has the unlock hour in every time zone.
MW4 Vault Edition price and contents
The Vault Edition costs $99.99 and adds the Hunter Killer Operator Skin, the Hostile Alliance Operator Pack, the Special Forces Operator Pack, the Signature Weapon Collection, one season of BlackCell and a DMZ Deployment Bonus at launch, according to Activision.
Already bought the Digital Standard Edition? The Vault Edition Upgrade costs $30, through the in-game store or the store where the game was bought, and Steam lists it at $30.00. Physical copies can’t be upgraded, and the loyalty discount doesn’t apply to upgrades.
MW4 loyalty discount
Activision takes 10% off the Vault Edition, to about $90, for players who own and played a premium Call of Duty released since Modern Warfare (2019). That covers Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard, Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7, plus games played through an active Game Pass subscription or claimed with PlayStation Plus.

MW4 price in the UK, Europe, Canada, Japan and Australia
On Steam, the Standard Edition costs £59.99 in the UK, €69.99 in Germany, CDN$89.99 in Canada, ¥9,800 in Japan and A$109.95 in Australia. Activision sets the Vault upgrade at $30 in the US or the regional equivalent.
