Nintendo Switch Sports Resort costs $49.99 for the digital version on the Nintendo eShop and $59.99 for the physical edition on Nintendo's US store, and it comes out on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, only on Switch 2. Nintendo also sells a Nintendo Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Bundle for $529.99, the same day. That box holds the console with Light Blue and Light Red Joy-Con 2 controllers, a digital download of the game and a code for a three-month individual Nintendo Switch Online membership, and Nintendo says it saves $27.98. The console alone costs $499.99, so a Switch 2 plus the digital game bought separately comes to $549.98, $20 more than the bundle. As of Oct. 18, both versions of the game can be pre-ordered, the physical edition is listed as in stock on Nintendo's store, and Nintendo hasn't cut either price.

What you get for the price
12 sports, two of them new: Thumb Wrestling and Skateboarding, which uses a Joy-Con 2 controller as a mouse. The other 10 return, from Power Cruising and Archery to Bowling and Golf, and Wuhu Island is the setting again. The game is rated E10+.
Up to four players can share one Switch 2, and online play for two to 16 players needs a Nintendo Switch Online membership, which the bundle covers for three months. Nintendo’s eShop lists TV mode and tabletop mode, with no handheld play.
Is there a Switch Sports Resort discount?
Not from Nintendo. As of Oct. 18, it hasn’t cut the price of either version ahead of launch. The bundle is the only offer, and it’s built around buying the console.
