Star Wars: Galactic Racer isn't on Switch 2 or Game Pass, and here's what it costs

Star Wars: Galactic Racer has been out since Oct. 6, and it hasn’t reached Switch 2 or Game Pass. Here’s where each one stands, what the editions cost and what has changed since launch.

Is Star Wars: Galactic Racer on Switch 2?

Secret Mode hasn’t announced a Switch 2 version. Its April 30 release names PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and its launch post on Oct. 6 names the same three. Nintendo’s US store had no page for the game when we checked on Nov. 1.

The talk of a port traces back to one July 20 report of a retailer in the Gulf region. The listing showed Switch 2 with a PS5 box image and a provisional date of Oct. 6, and that date passed with no Switch 2 version.

Expected Switch 2 price: $59.99 if a version comes, our estimate, matching the suggested price on every other platform. We won’t guess a date, because Secret Mode has given none. Is Star Wars: Galactic Racer on Game Pass?

Microsoft’s Game Pass lists didn’t include it on Nov. 7, on console, PC or cloud. The Xbox store sells it at $59.99, and Xbox’s launch post on Oct. 6 describes it as a purchase. Our Game Pass November 2026 page tracks what does arrive on the service.

When did Star Wars: Galactic Racer come out?

Oct. 6, 2026. Microsoft’s store lists 9 a.m. UTC, which was 5 a.m. ET. Fuse Games developed it and Secret Mode publishes it. The game was revealed at The Game Awards in December 2025, where the PC stores named were Steam and the Epic Games Store. Steam lists Windows only, with no Mac or Linux version.

How much does Star Wars: Galactic Racer cost?

Steam sells the Deluxe upgrade at $19.99, and it charged the full $59.99 with no discount on Nov. 7.

Does it have cross-play, and what has changed since launch?

Steam and Xbox both list cross-platform multiplayer, and Secret Mode gives the game 1 to 12 players. Press reports include PS5, which we couldn’t confirm from a PlayStation listing. The first quality-of-life update, on Oct. 22, raised the online party size from three to six and added keyboard presets for AZERTY and for left-hand and right-hand play. Full key rebinding hasn’t arrived.

Secret Mode’s Oct. 27 post promises more about the game’s future, with no roadmap or date attached, and no new post followed through Nov. 7. The game also picked up Golden Joystick nominations for Ultimate Game of the Year and Best Audio Design, with winners named at the ceremony on Nov. 11.

This page is updated as soon as Secret Mode announces another platform, the game joins Game Pass or a post-launch plan appears.
