Silent Hill f DLC: no story DLC has been announced, but a free Fatal Frame costume arrived in June 2026
Konami hasn't announced any story DLC or expansion for Silent Hill f. The game's add-ons so far are cosmetic: the newest is the Crimson Butterfly costume, a free outfit inspired by Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake that Konami added in an update on June 26, 2026. The only paid extra is the $14.99 Digital Deluxe Upgrade on Steam, with an artbook, the soundtrack and a Pink Rabbit costume.

- Xbox Series X|S
- PC
Silent Hill f has picked up new outfits since launch, but no new story. Here’s every add-on so far.
Is there story DLC for Silent Hill f?
No. Konami hasn’t announced any story DLC, expansion or season pass for Silent Hill f, the horror game set in 1960s Japan that came out on Sept. 25, 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X and S and PC. It’s developed by NeoBards Entertainment and written by Ryukishi07.
Everything added since launch has been cosmetic, delivered through free updates. The latest patch, 1.21, came out on July 23, 2026, and fixed costume names in some languages.
What is the Fatal Frame costume?
It’s the Crimson Butterfly costume, which dresses Hinako in the style of Mio Amakura, the protagonist of Koei Tecmo’s Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake. Konami added it on June 26, 2026, and it’s available in-game to everyone who owns Silent Hill f, with patch 1.20 or later. To wear it, visit a Hokora and choose Change Costume.
The collaboration works both ways. Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake has a free Silent Hill f costume set, out on Steam since March 26, 2026, with Hinako’s Navy Sailor School Uniform for Mio and a Fox Mask that both Mio and Mayu can wear.
Is there any paid DLC?
Just one item. The Digital Deluxe Upgrade costs $14.99 on Steam and adds a digital artbook and soundtrack, in a separate bonus app, and the Pink Rabbit costume. It’s included in the Deluxe Edition, so Deluxe owners don’t need it. The base game costs $69.99 on Steam.
Konami has also run other tie-ins without new content in the game: a bundle with Higurashi When They Cry Hou, another story by Ryukishi07, since July 15, 2026, and a limited-time browser mini-game with Urban Myth Dissolution Center in September 2026.
A new game rather than more Silent Hill f. Silent Hill: Townfall, a first-person psychological horror game set in Scotland in 1996 and developed by Screen Burn, came out on Sept. 24, 2026, and costs $49.99 on Steam. Konami’s other big October release is a new Castlevania, as our Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse on Switch 2 page explains, and Capcom’s next horror remake is due in 2027, as our Resident Evil Code Veronica remake release date page explains.
This page is updated as soon as Konami announces story DLC, a new costume or a major update for Silent Hill f.
