God of War Laufey cast: Deborah Ann Woll as Faye, Jack Quaid as Phranque and Perlina Lau as Rue
Deborah Ann Woll leads the cast of God of War Laufey as Faye, returning to the role after appearing in God of War Ragnarök. Jack Quaid plays Phranque, a curious cosmic cube, and Perlina Lau plays Rue, an enchanted ribbon that guards a powerful sword; the two companions join Faye soon after Faye wakes up in the Everywhen, the afterlife of the gods. As of Oct. 17, 2026, those are the only actors Santa Monica Studio has named. It hasn't announced who plays the gods Sekhmet and Begtse, or who voices Kratos, who appears in official screenshots. God of War Laufey has a small confirmed cast so far. Here’s who plays Faye and the two companions, and which roles are still unannounced.
Who is in the God of War Laufey cast?
Three actors are confirmed as of Oct. 17, 2026. Deborah Ann Woll plays Faye, Jack Quaid plays Phranque and Perlina Lau plays Rue. Santa Monica Studio named all three when it revealed the game on June 2, 2026, and hasn’t announced more since.
Deborah Ann Woll as Faye
Woll returns as Faye after appearing in God of War Ragnarök, and Santa Monica Studio says Woll leads the cast. Faye, also called Laufey, is Kratos' late wife and a legendary warrior known as the Golden Hand of the Jötnar who could stand up to Thor. The game begins when Faye wakes up after the funeral in a strange land, the Everywhen, and discovers that the plans made to protect Kratos and Atreus are at risk.
Jack Quaid as Phranque and Perlina Lau as Rue
Faye doesn’t travel alone. Soon after waking up, Faye meets two companions. Phranque, played by Jack Quaid, is a curious cosmic cube with an earnest disposition, willing to do whatever it takes to protect friends and the creatures of the Everywhen. Rue, played by Perlina Lau, is an enchanted ribbon, the guardian of a devastatingly powerful sword that must not fall into the wrong hands.
Both appear in the $149.99 Collector Box statue, which shows Faye, Phranque and Rue fighting Begtse’s soldiers; our God of War Laufey Collector Box page has the details.
Which roles are still unannounced?
The gods. Santa Monica Studio has shown two of the deities Faye meets in the Everywhen, Sekhmet and Begtse, both hostile to the newcomer, but it hasn’t named the actors behind them. Kratos shows up in official screenshots, including Faye’s funeral pyre from the start of the Norse saga, yet the studio hasn’t said how big the role is or who voices Kratos in Laufey.
Who is making the game?
Ariel Lawrence is the game director, and Cory Barlog, Santa Monica Studio’s head of creative, joined Lawrence for the reveal interview. God of War Laufey comes out on Feb. 16, 2027, only on PS5; our main God of War Laufey release date page covers the editions, price and combat.
This page is updated as soon as Santa Monica Studio announces more of the God of War Laufey cast.
