Capcom Cup 13 prize pool

The prize pool is $1,297,000, paid directly by Capcom. The winner takes $1 million, second place $100,000, third $50,000 and fourth $20,000. Fifth to eighth get $10,000 each, ninth to 16th $4,000 each, and the rules list $2,000 for players tied for 17th and for 21st. Capcom also pays an economy round trip and a hotel room for every player.

Street Fighter League’s total prize pool for the 2026 season doubles to $400,000, and Capcom says its esports prize money for the season tops $2.1 million in all.

How players qualify for Capcom Cup 13

Forty-eight players make the field. Eight come from the Premier events, the big offline opens of the Capcom Pro Tour: Evo Japan, Combo Breaker, Blink Respawn, Evo Las Vegas, Battle Arena Melbourne 16, CEO, Ultimate Fighting Arena and Evo France. Each winner qualifies, and if the winner already has a spot, it goes to the best unqualified finisher. After the last Premier, the top eight in Premier points qualify too.

The biggest group is the 25 World Warrior regional champions. Each region runs five regular tournaments, and the top eight in points meet in a regional final, whose winner goes to Tokyo. In Japan, the points leader after five events qualifies directly and the next eight play the regional final. The last slots go to the Capcom Cup 12 champion, the four players of the team that won the Street Fighter League World Championship 2025 and the Street Fighter 6 champion of the Esports World Cup 2026.

Who has qualified so far?

Sahara has a spot as the Capcom Cup 12 champion. Among the Premier events, Yamaguchi won Evo Japan in May, XiaoHai won Combo Breaker and MenaRD won Blink Respawn in the Dominican Republic. MenaRD also won Evo Las Vegas, so that spot went to runner-up Shigematsu. Hinao, 15 years old, won Battle Arena Melbourne 16 in July, and NoahTheProdigy won Ultimate Fighting Arena in September.

Tokido won CEO in Orlando in August but already had a spot from the Street Fighter League World Championship win, so CEO’s place went to runner-up Booce_Lee. Capcom hadn’t posted the Evo France result or the final Premier points top eight on its Pro Tour site as of Oct. 18, 2026. Ten World Warrior regional finals, from Mexico and Chile to the UK and Ireland and South Korea, were set for the weekend of Oct. 17 and 18.

How the tournament works

In Phase 1 on March 10 and 11, the 48 players split into 12 groups of four, each a double elimination bracket of best-of-five sets. The winners side champion of each group goes straight to the Top 16, and the losers side champion moves on to Phase 2 on March 12, where four round robin groups of three send their leaders to the Top 16. The Top 16 on March 13 is a single elimination bracket of best-of-nine sets, first to five wins, all the way to the grand final.

Who won Capcom Cup 12?

Sahara, a 21-year-old first-year pro, won Capcom Cup 12 in a debut appearance at Ryogoku Kokugikan in March 2026, and REJECT won the Street Fighter League World Championship 2025 at the same event. Capcom says the two events drew a record 20,000 attendees. MenaRD, the only player with two Capcom Cup titles, goes to Tokyo chasing a third, and our Evo 2027 page covers the next big Street Fighter 6 open, in Singapore in January.

This page is updated as soon as Capcom announces Capcom Cup 13 tickets, the full list of 48 players and the group draw.
