Valorant new agent Hush release date: Riot's next Duelist comes in Season 26 Act VI, and the last two agents went live two days after their reveal
Riot Games revealed Valorant's next agent, Hush, with a cinematic trailer called Rise and Fall on Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, at 2 a.m. ET, the day of the Champions Shanghai grand final. Riot says Hush is a Duelist and is available in Season 26 Act VI, the act that began with patch 13.08 on Oct. 13, but it hasn't given an exact release date or patch number. The last two agents went live two days after their reveal: Veto with patch 11.07b on Oct. 7, 2025, and Miks with patch 12.05 on March 17, 2026. If Hush follows the same pattern, it would arrive around Tuesday, Oct. 20, but Riot hasn't confirmed that. Riot also hasn't published the agent's abilities yet.

Valorant has a new Duelist. Here’s when Hush is expected in the game and what Riot has said so far.
When does Hush come out in Valorant? Riot says Hush is available in Season 26 Act VI. That act began with patch 13.08 on Oct. 13, 2026, so the agent arrives during the current act, but Riot hasn’t given an exact date or named the patch.
The last two agents give a strong hint. Veto was revealed on Oct. 5, 2025, and went live with patch 11.07b on Oct. 7. Miks was revealed on March 15, 2026, and went live with patch 12.05 on March 17. Both arrived two days after their trailer, on a Tuesday. If Hush follows the same pattern, it would land around Tuesday, Oct. 20, but that’s our read of Riot’s recent releases, not a Riot announcement.
Riot published the cinematic trailer Rise and Fall on Oct. 18 at 06:00 UTC, or 2 a.m. ET, on the day of the Champions Shanghai grand final. The trailer runs 2 minutes and 43 seconds, and Riot’s post describes Hush as a new Duelist agent. It doesn’t give the agent’s abilities, origin or price.
Riot started the tease on Oct. 15 with a 48-second video called Final Word, which promised “Soon, you’ll all see who has the final word.” Riot’s agents page lists 29 agents, so Hush would make 30.
How Riot released the last two agents. For both Veto and Miks, the agent went live with the next patch two days after the cinematic trailer, and Riot posted a separate gameplay reveal video around launch. Veto, a Sentinel, came out with patch 11.07b in October 2025. Miks, a Croatian Controller, kicked off Act II with patch 12.05 in March 2026.
The current patch, 13.08, rotated Corrode and Bind into the map pool, took out Ascent and Split and added Map Rating.
The reveal came on the last day of Valorant Champions 2026, where LOUD and Team Vitality play the best-of-five grand final in Shanghai. Our Champions grand final time page has the start time in every region, and our Champions 2026 schedule and results page has every result.
This page is updated as soon as Riot announces Hush’s release date, patch and abilities.
