Satisfactory DLC release date: Core Values, the game's first paid expansion, takes factories underground but has no date or price yet
There's no release date for the Satisfactory DLC yet. Coffee Stain Studios announced the Core Values Expansion, the game's first paid DLC, during its Big Break Showcase on Sept. 29, 2026, and its Steam page lists the release date as to be announced, with no price. The expansion takes players into the crust of the planet to build an underground factory network, with new resources, wildlife and buildings. Store pages are up on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and console pages are coming soon.

When does the Satisfactory DLC come out?
Coffee Stain hasn’t said. It revealed the Satisfactory - Core Values Expansion during its own Big Break Showcase on Sept. 29, 2026, and posted store pages on Steam and the Epic Games Store the same day, with console store links marked as coming soon. The Steam page lists the release date as to be announced and has no price.
The expansion was announced about three weeks after Satisfactory’s second anniversary of version 1.0, which came out on Sept. 10, 2024. The base game costs $39.99 on Steam and is also sold on PS5 and Xbox.
What’s in the Core Values Expansion?
Coffee Stain calls it the first paid DLC for Satisfactory and a major expansion. Players go into the crust of MASSAGE-2(A-B)b, the planet of the base game, in a different setting with new resources, flora and fauna, and develop an underground factory network with new production lines and buildings, uncovering more about the world the deeper they go.
The name comes from FICSIT, the corporation players work for: the Steam page says pioneers will Construct, Automate, Explore and Exploit while continuing to uphold FICSIT’s Core Values. Satisfactory already has a $7.99 soundtrack on Steam, but Core Values is its first paid content for the game itself.
Is Satisfactory still getting free updates?
Yes, so far. The latest major update, 1.2, came out on June 2, 2026, after testing on the Experimental branch from March 17, 2026. It added weather with rain that buildings block, world settings for weather and fog, an Unreal Engine 5.6.1 upgrade, rebindable controller buttons and a rebuilt system for automated vehicle paths, and brought the fixes from the console version to PC. The most recent patch, v1.2.4.1, came out on Oct. 12, 2026, with crash fixes and a fix for audio mods. Coffee Stain hasn’t announced a 1.3 update.
Will it come to PS5 and Xbox?
Coffee Stain’s announcement listed the console store links as coming soon, and Satisfactory itself is on PS5 and Xbox. It hasn’t said whether the expansion will launch on all platforms on the same day.
