Roblox The Hollow event: nine monsters over nine nights, a live finale on Oct. 31 and rewards until Nov. 2
The Hollow, Roblox's platform-wide Halloween event, opened at 2 p.m. PT, or 5 p.m. ET, on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, and runs until Monday, Nov. 2, according to Roblox's announcement of Oct. 21. Each day for nine days, a monster from one of nine well-known Roblox horror games enters the event's maze, among them the Deer from 99 Nights in the Forest, Seek from DOORS and Piggy. A live finale for all players begins on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 31, and rewards stay collectible until noon PT on Nov. 2, which is 3 p.m. ET. The event experience, published by Roblox, passed 41.2 million visits on Oct. 24.

Roblox announced The Hollow on Oct. 21 and opened it the next day, and the experience page says the survival game itself started at 3 p.m. PT, an hour after the doors opened. The nine days of monsters run from Oct. 22 to Oct. 30, by our count, and the finale on Oct. 31 is a live event for all players. Europe moves its clocks back on Oct. 25 and the US on Nov. 1, so the Nov. 2 deadline lands at noon PST, 3 p.m. EST and 8 p.m. GMT.

Roblox hasn’t said which night each monster arrives. The lineup leans on the platform’s biggest horror hits: 99 Nights in the Forest has passed 30 billion visits, Piggy more than 14 billion and DOORS more than 7.9 billion, according to their Roblox pages. DOORS lists itself as part of The Hollow event, and The Hollow’s own description hints at links to other games and says event quests count both in the Hollow and in participating experiences.
How The Hollow works
Each day, players entering the event hub find a new maze, search it for clues and evade the monsters. It’s one continuous survival game, and the Hollow grows more unsettling as the days pass. Quests earn exclusive avatar items and rewards that help players survive another night. Servers hold up to 20 players, according to the experience page.
Creator champions play live from inside the Hollow every day, including LimaMosca, KreekCraft, Bundun and SirDapper, uncovering clues and helping players survive. The experience passed 41.2 million visits on Oct. 24, with more than 36,000 players inside at 2 a.m. ET.
Rewards, Marketplace items and Roblox Plus
The Marketplace sells new and returning Halloween avatar items for a limited time, including the Hollow Horseman, dozens of exclusive items and new seasonal makeup looks. Roblox Plus subscribers got into the hub early, at noon PT on Oct. 22, and get an exclusive profile frame and background plus an exclusive item launcher for gifting items to other players during the event, and they keep the event theme after the finale. Separately, Plus takes 10% off select items in the first two months and 20% from the third month, according to Roblox.
Halloween on Roblox for younger players
The Hollow is aimed at ages 9 and older. For younger players, Roblox’s Family Zone runs a Duck Duck Halloween crossover, where parents and kids hunt for hidden ducks in costumes while learning about online safety. Adopt Me! brings back the Hauntlet minigame with new rewards and pets, and Welcome to Bloxburg adds Halloween minigames such as Pumpkin Panic and Ghost Hunt. At Target, the Roblox Mini Pack sells for $20 with 40 physical coins, each worth 50 Robux, or 2,000 Robux per pack.
The Hollow and Roblox’s Oct. 29 earnings
