Rayman Legends Retold arrives Dec. 3 at $39.99 with Rayman Origins in every edition
Rayman Legends Retold, Ubisoft's remake of the 2013 platformer, comes out on Thursday, Dec. 3, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, and through the GeForce Now and Blacknut cloud services. Ubisoft moved it from Oct. 1 on Sept. 14, after the game had already gone gold, to give every detail more care. The PlayStation Store and the Xbox store unlock it at midnight ET, which is 9 p.m. PT on Dec. 2, while Steam lists 10 a.m. ET. The Standard Edition costs $39.99 and includes Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, and the $49.99 Deluxe Edition adds a Retro Pack of four costumes and an in-game art gallery. Pre-orders get the Hoodlum Havoc Pack. The Nintendo eShop lists the Dec. 3 date without a price, but Ubisoft set $39.99 as the Standard Edition's suggested price on every platform.

How much is Rayman Legends Retold?
| Edition | Price | What’s included |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $39.99 | Base game and Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition |
| Deluxe | $49.99 | Standard content, Retro Pack and Art Gallery |

Both prices come from Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Xbox store, where pre-orders are open. The Retro Pack adds four retro costumes: Classic Rayman, Betilla the Fairy, Retro Hunter and Electoon Teensie. A retail-only Launch Edition adds a printed Glade of Dreams map, three lithographs and a slipcase. Pre-ordering any edition adds the Hoodlum Havoc Pack, two costumes for Rayman and Globox based on Rayman 3. The Switch 2 listing doesn’t take orders yet, but Ubisoft’s suggested price of $39.99 for the Standard Edition covers every platform.
What’s new in Rayman Legends Retold?
The remake rebuilds Rayman Legends in 3D with a retold story, in which a mysterious enemy rising from the underworld corrupts the Glade of Dreams. Many original levels come back, joined by a sixth realm and four new musical stages built around jumping in time with the music. Dragon rides and a Cave of Trials add fresh challenges, and fully voiced cutscenes join an expanded soundtrack from Christophe Héral and Grant Kirkhope.

Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition comes with every copy, so one purchase covers Rayman Origins and the rebuilt Rayman Legends. On Oct. 21, Ubisoft also revealed baguette outfits for Rayman and Barbara, available from day one as a nod to a fellow game made in Montpellier, France, home of Ubisoft Montpellier, the studio leading the remake with Ubisoft Milan.
Co-op, Kung Foot and accessibility
The whole campaign works with up to four players on one screen, and friends can compete for Lums or slap each other off platforms along the way. Kung Foot, the soccer mode, comes back as Kung Foot Evo, with power-ups and adjustable match rules.

Ubisoft built in a long list of assist options that each player can switch on or off, even in co-op. The Fairy Blessing from the fairy Betilla, which you can turn on in the settings and use without limit, blocks damage and lets you fly, even through breakable obstacles. A Golden Heart blocks two hits, Autoshoot fires automatically during dragon rides, and glide and run can switch from hold to toggle.
