Fallout Day 2026: no broadcast this year, a week of reveals from Oct. 19 to 23 instead

Fallout Day is going social this year. Here’s the full Oct. 19 to 23 schedule, what’s actually planned and what Bethesda has promised for 2027.

Is there a Fallout Day broadcast in 2026? No. In posts on Oct. 12, 2026, Fallout and Bethesda said they’re celebrating Fallout Day a little differently this year, with no live broadcast. Instead, there’s something new each day on the official Fallout social channels from Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 23, which is Fallout Day itself.

That’s a change from recent years. In 2025, Bethesda streamed its Fallout Day broadcast live on Oct. 23 at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Fallout for Hope post-show. Bethesda Game Studios had already said in July that it wouldn’t host a traditional broadcast in 2026.

Fallout Day 2026 schedule. Bethesda’s Vault-Tec community calendar gives each day a theme. Monday, Oct. 19, is about the community, with spotlights and Wasteland giveaways. Tuesday, Oct. 20, covers Fallout Shelter updates and Fallout 4 Creations, and Wednesday, Oct. 21, celebrates collaborations and out-of-game experiences.

Thursday, Oct. 22, belongs to Fallout 76, with a first look at the World Pets update. Friday, Oct. 23, is Fallout Day, which Bethesda describes as a day for all fans to come together and celebrate everything Fallout.

World Pets is the update Bethesda has already detailed. In its Sept. 30, 2026, letter, the Fallout 76 team said it arrives in December 2026 and turns C.A.M.P. pets into companions that adventure with you and level up as you play, with new commands including Stay, Follow, Protect and Kill.

The bigger addition comes later. Bethesda Game Studios said in its July 17, 2026, note that a major expansion called Raven Rock, a prequel story to Fallout 3, is planned for next year, which means 2027. The Fallout 76 team says its current roadmap runs into summer 2027.

Bethesda hasn’t said. On July 17, 2026, Bethesda Game Studios confirmed it has been working on remasters of both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, without announcing dates or platforms. The Fallout Day schedule doesn’t mention either remaster, so there’s no official word that they’ll appear this week. Here’s everything that’s known about the Fallout 3 Remastered release date.

The same note said Fallout 5 is in preproduction on Creation Engine 3, with The Elder Scrolls VI as the studio’s main focus, and that Obsidian Entertainment is working with Bethesda on a new Fallout project. For where that leaves Bethesda’s next big game, see what’s known about The Elder Scrolls 6.

Fallout turns 30 in 2027, and Bethesda Game Studios says it’s already planning something special, with Fallout Day celebrated live in Washington, D.C. It hasn’t announced a date, venue or tickets. Bethesda’s 2026 schedule doesn’t include an in-person event in Goodsprings or anywhere else.

If you want to revisit the Capital Wasteland before then, Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition was $4.99 on Steam when we checked on Oct. 17, 2026, and Fallout 76 was $7.99.
