Zero Parades: For Dead Spies, ZA/UM's spy RPG, reaches PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox on Nov. 3 as the Director's Cut

ZA/UM’s spy RPG expands beyond PC on Nov. 3, when Zero Parades: Director’s Cut arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X and S and Switch 2. Here are the unlock times, the expected price and what each console version does.

When does Zero Parades come out on consoles?

Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, on all three consoles. The PS5 version, first announced in September 2025, got its Nov. 3 date with the Director’s Cut announcement on Sept. 17, 2026. ZA/UM’s Oct. 15 post confirms Switch 2 for the same day, and Xbox announced the Xbox Series X and S version, plus Xbox on PC, during its Oct. 20 ID@Xbox showcase.

On the Microsoft Store, 6 a.m. ET is 11 a.m. in the UK and 8 p.m. in Japan, all on Nov. 3. For everything else arriving that month, see our new games in November 2026 list.

How much is Zero Parades on PS5, Xbox and Switch 2?

On Steam, the game costs $39.99. The console prices aren’t public: the PlayStation Store page and Microsoft’s catalog both showed the game without a price when we checked on Oct. 29, and ZA/UM’s announcements skip pricing.

Expected price: about $39.99, our estimate, matching the PC version, since the consoles get the same Director’s Cut content.

PC players who own Zero Parades: For Dead Spies got the Director’s Cut as a free update on Oct. 1. Xbox’s Game Pass catalog doesn’t list it, so plan on buying it.

What the Director’s Cut adds

The console versions launch as the Director’s Cut, the definitive edition of the game. ZA/UM lists:

• a new Dramatic Encounter at the Quisach Roundabout, a late-night escape in a hijacked tuk-tuk with old friend Ramses, where missing the right exit can turn fatal;
• about 40,000 words of new material, including talks about L-Pop with Ramses, dolphin-human hybrids with HOLOCENE and the Opera with Melita;
• Backstage Mode, a walk through earlier versions of locations and cut content, with commentary from the game’s Art Director;
• complete English voice-over, a newly recorded opening and a fresh audio mix;
• new clothing that characters react to, new death screens, new Tactical Illustrations and more pedestrian variety;
• dialogue history that hides parts of past conversations behind redaction bars.

Quality-of-life and accessibility upgrades include inventory sorting and grouping, full controller remapping, a Photosensitivity Mode, a high contrast setting, adjustable text size and speed and a dyslexic font option.

Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox features

ZA/UM showed the Switch 2 and PS5 features in its Console Features Trailer at the Galaxies Showcase on Oct. 15. The Xbox version followed on Oct. 20.

On Steam, the game is Steam Deck Verified. Full audio is in English, with German, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Latin American Spanish text.

What kind of game is Zero Parades?

Zero Parades is a dialogue-driven espionage RPG from the studio behind Disco Elysium. You play Hershel Wilk, a gifted, troubled operant sent on a final mission in the city of Portofiro, trying to reunite an old spy crew. Conversations, intel and skill checks drive the story, and in Dramatic Encounters you freeze time in Tactical View, roll the dice and take penalties and debuffs to force the dice in your favor.
