Blizzard hasn't named the heroes or the prices. Expected launch time: 2 p.m. ET, our estimate. Expected price: 1,900 Overwatch Coins per skin and 6,900 Coins for a bundle with all of them, our estimate, matching October's Shadow Monarch collab.

Blizzard’s next Overwatch crossover brings Stellar Blade’s look to the hero shooter. Here’s the date, what the key art shows and what we expect the skins to cost.

When does Overwatch x EVE Protocol start?

Blizzard’s official Overwatch YouTube channel posted the Overwatch x EVE Protocol artwork on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026, and said the collab starts on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Blizzard’s post doesn’t mention Stellar Blade by name, but the artwork puts a hero in EVE’s signature bodysuit at the center, and Stellar Blade’s official account on X shared co-branded art two days earlier, on Oct. 23, as reported at the time.

Expected launch time: 2 p.m. ET on Nov. 3, our estimate, the 11 a.m. PT hour when Season 5 went live on Oct. 6. The date falls the day after the Season 5 Halloween event, Mystery Madness: Graveyard Games, ends on Nov. 2, and two days before Stellar Blade reaches Switch 2 on Nov. 5.

What the key art shows. The wide artwork shows five figures drawn in Stellar Blade’s style against a purple and orange sky. At the center stands a hero in EVE’s green-and-white bodysuit. Around that hero are a fighter with a long yellow-edged sword, a hero tossing a white drone, a man with a rifle on one shoulder and a small pilot riding a mech.

The post doesn’t name the heroes or the skins. Fan accounts list Widowmaker as EVE, D.Va as Lily, Vendetta as Tachy, Soldier: 76 as Adam and Freja as Raven. Blizzard hasn’t confirmed that list on its website or its YouTube channel, and it hasn’t said whether the collab adds a limited-time mode or free rewards.

How much will the skins cost? Blizzard hasn’t priced the EVE Protocol items. The last crossover sets the benchmark: shop listings reported during the Overwatch x Shadow Monarch collab put each of its five skins at 1,900 Overwatch Coins in the hero gallery, and the Shadow Monarch Mega Bundle, with all five skins plus intros, victory poses, sprays and a weapon charm, at 6,900 Coins.

Expected price: 1,900 Coins per skin and 6,900 Coins for a full bundle, our estimate. Coins sell in packs, so one skin fits in the $19.99 pack of 2,200 Coins, and the full bundle takes about $65 in packs.

Shift Up has paired Stellar Blade with other games before. The $9.99 NieR:Automata and Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLCs bring Nanosuits, a boss fight and mini games into Stellar Blade, and four free Bayonetta outfits for EVE arrive on Nov. 5. Our Stellar Blade DLC guide lists every pack and price.

EVE Protocol runs the other way and takes Shift Up’s designs into Blizzard’s free-to-play shooter. The timing lines up with Stellar Blade on Switch 2, which costs $59.99 for the Complete Edition with both collab DLCs, the same price as the base game on Steam. Shift Up’s next game in the series, Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, has no release date.

Season 5: A Grim Doctrine began on Oct. 6 with the vampire-inspired Support hero Doctrine and Sombra’s move to Support. Team Drives return to Competitive from Oct. 29 to Nov. 1, and EVE Protocol follows two days later.

Blizzard hasn’t dated the next season. Our Overwatch Season 6 page expects it around Dec. 1, so the crossover arrives at the midpoint of Season 5.

This page is updated as soon as Blizzard names the EVE Protocol heroes, skins and prices.

FAQ

Which heroes are in the Overwatch x EVE Protocol artwork?

Blizzard’s post doesn’t name them. The art shows a hero in EVE’s green-and-white bodysuit, a fighter with a long sword, a hero with a white drone, a man with a rifle and a small pilot on a mech. Fan accounts list Widowmaker, D.Va, Vendetta, Soldier: 76 and Freja, which Blizzard hasn’t confirmed.

Do you need to own Stellar Blade to get the Overwatch skins?

Blizzard hasn’t announced any reward tied to owning Stellar Blade. Overwatch’s crossover skins sell in its in-game shop for Overwatch Coins, and October’s Shadow Monarch skins needed no Solo Leveling purchase.

Can you still buy the Overwatch x Shadow Monarch skins?

Blizzard’s Season 5 schedule ran the Shadow Monarch collab from Oct. 6 to Oct. 19, 2026, so EVE Protocol is the first crossover since it ended.
